Nike Sports Bra for Every Support Level

Nike's sports bra range is split by support level, not just style, and once you know which line covers what, picking the right one for you is a lot easier.

  • Nike Indy -  Light support for yoga, pilates and recovery. Removable padding, soft straps, low compression. The pick if your training stays steady and your bust runs smaller. Worth a look as a Nike light support sports bra.
  • Nike Zenvy - super-soft, Dri-FIT fabrication with a smooth, chafe-free silhouette, the Zenvy is perfect for low-impact workouts
  • Nike Swoosh - A solid Nike medium support sports bra: cycling, strength work, brisk runs and most studio classes. The version you reach for most days of the week.
  • Nike Pro - Medium-to-high support with proper compression. Built for serious gym sessions and hybrid training where you need lock-down hold without the locked-in feel of a full high-impact bra.
  • Nike Rival - High support, the dedicated Nike high impact sports bra. Engineered for running and HIIT, with band and cup sizing for fuller busts and adjustable straps for fine-tuning fit. The most squat-and-sprint proof of the lineup.
  • Nike Dri-FIT - Less a line and more the moisture-wicking fabric tech that runs through most styles. If a Nike sports bra is labelled Dri-FIT, it's built to keep you dry through the session.

Across the edit you'll find both white Nike sports bra and black Nike sports bra options as core staples, plus seasonal colourways and prints when they land.

Frequently Asked Questions

Match the support level to the activity first, then worry about fit.

  • Swift or Rival for high-impact, vigorous workouts and running
  • Pro or Alpha for anything where your feet leave the floor and there’s lots of bounce in your workout
  • Swoosh and Universa for moderate gym training sessions
  • Zenvy, Alate and Indy Light for yoga, Pilates and recovery.

From there it's about cup coverage, strap style (racerback for more shoulder movement vs traditional for more adjustability) and whether you want removable padding for shape.

Some are. Swift is the high support line, properly built for running, HIIT and heavier lifting, and the iconic Swoosh and Indy styles now also come with high-support options. If high impact's what you're after, we recommend looking at any of these.

Snug around the band without digging in, with cups that fully contain you and no spillage at the top or sides. You should be able to lift your arms over your head without the band riding up. If it's pulling away from your ribcage when you move, it's too loose.

Most are sized XS to XL rather than band and cup, with the Alpha being the exception, which comes in proper bra sizing for fuller busts. They run true to standard UK fit overall, though anyone between sizes on a Pro is usually better off sizing up for comfort once you're moving.

Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, no fabric softener (it ruins the elastic over time), and air dry rather than tumble. Dri-FIT fabric should handle this fine for years. A pro tip is to remove any bra cups before you wash and wash them seperately which will stop them from folding in the bra during washing.
