A little history:
Created by husband-and-wife duo Ellie and Quang Dinh, Girlfriend Collective launched in 2016. The pair wanted to create leggings that appealed to women who enjoy being active and care about the environment. The team spent over a year researching and developing its first Girlfriend Collective Legging, ensuring the fit, fabric and performance adhered to the highest standards. Wear tested by more than 100 women, they tweaked their design into the opaque, sheer-proof, compression fit that you see today.
Why we love it:
Girlfriend Collective Leggings might just be the ideal athleisure piece. Each pair is made from 79% recycled water bottles and environmentally-friendly dyes, in shades such as terracotta, powder blue and apricot. They'll soon become your new favourite wear-everywhere legging, with a slightly thicker fabrication than your average style, a high waistline that doesn't roll down or bunch and a streamlined fit that flatters every shape. It’s a no-brainer; they are our new favourite sustainable yoga clothes and just had to be in our edit.
