2XU Women's

Australia's 2XU (Two Times You) sprinted onto the scene in 2005 and hasn't slowed down. They've mastered the science and art of elite compression gear and with 48 fabrics to their name, we think they're fulfilling their mission: advancing human performance. No big deal, right? Not sure which size you need in compression wear? Check out our guide How to choose compression wear that fits?

2XU Womens Compression Tights

It's a first-class Australian clothing company, not a boy band (though they'd likely top those charts too). Since launching in 2005, 2XU (pronounced "Two Times You") has become the elite compression brand for ambitious athletes worldwide. 2XU strives to accelerate performance and recovery, combining intelligent design with cutting-edge fabrics and construction. Research backs up 2XU's excellence but even if the technology didn't do a thing, the I'm-practically-wearing-body-paint aesthetic would certainly make us run faster.

Founded by former professional athlete turned performance-fabric obsessive, Jamie Hunt, founder of Davenport Industries Clyde Davenport, and marketing specialist Aidan Clarke, 2XU hit the market in Australia, 2005. It first gained notoriety as a specialist triathlon and running brand, its new-gen fabrics designed to elevate performance. Since, it’s expanded to encompass a whole range of sportswear, favoured by the US Navy SEALs, olympians, NBA and NFL teams worldwide.

Why we love it:

With a mission like ‘advancing human performance’, what’s not to love? Their bestselling 2XU compression tights come in a range of seasonal colours so they're as on-trend as the rest of your wardrobe, while a commitment to quality fabrication promises high-performance and a lightweight feel. The brand’s own PWX compression fabric has been carefully designed to offer both power and flexibility, along with highly-durable nylon and elastane yarns, so you won’t get any unsightly sagging after a few wears. Plus, 2XU clothing is all rigorously tested and backed by research by the Australian Institute of Sport and RMIT University. Still not convinced about compression wear?
